Random thoughts…

1. Why has my daughter gone from only saying “Daddy” to only saying “Mommy?”
2. Who will fill the great void of JK Rowling has left in my life, will it be Christopher Paolini, or R.A. Salvatore, or some other author I have yet to discover?
3. How can D&D be evil and Magic the Gathering be fine, even through the are both owned by the same company, and you are more likely to “perform evil” in Magic than D&D?
4. Is it just my imagination or do humans need an alignment? Our steering constantly seems to be pulling toward religion and man made rules.
5. The media is terribly predictable, in fact I am really starting to believe they are running from templates, as Maha Rushie is want to say, just after the tragedy of the bridge collapse all I heard on the news was “Could it happen here?”
   Now that everyone is demanding that bridges be repaired in the “deficient” status where do we think all of that money will be coming from, because we know Congress doesn’t understand the concept of cutting spending.
6. Has comedy changed or have I changed because I don’t find much of what passes for comedy funny?
7. Are all colleges simply diploma mills trying to lure in as many students as possible to collect the funds at the expense of educational quality?
